Classmates, family members and even some teachers and coaches from the
Seaside High School Class of 1958 gathered at the American Legion hall Sept. 11.
Along with recalling great memories and celebrating old friends, it was also a time to recognize those teachers, coaches and fellow classmates who have made an imact on the lives of these and countless other students.
Among those honored was fellow classmate, well-known landscape photographer and North Coast Land Conservancy director Neal Maine was presented with an award by class vice president Gary Bergeson.
Maine certainly wasn’t the only honoree of the evening. Coach Frank Bukiewicz and his wife Diane in turn received their award from Neal Maine.
Former football and track coach and algebra and physics teach Frank Wolf was honored with a plaque from class president Howard Piccard for his dedication to Seaside’s students.
And former music director Allen Deck was presented with his award by class treasurer Sandra Gue Price for his inspiration and committment.
